Artwork Guidelines for Custom Bookmark Printing
Bookmarks are tall and narrow, so the layout works from top to bottom.
- File size: your chosen size plus 3 mm bleed on each edge, so 46 × 106 mm or 56 × 166 mm
- Safe zone: keep text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim edge
- Top area: leave space at the top if you plan to punch a hole
- Design tip: put your logo or title at the top, because that’s the part that sticks out of the book
- Back of the bookmark: use it for contact details, a QR code, opening hours or a reading list
- Resolution: 300 DPI, CMYK colour
- Accepted files: JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF up to 32 MB
