How to Set Up Your Tri-Fold Brochure Artwork
A roll-fold brochure has one panel that tucks inside the others. That panel must be 2–3 mm narrower, or it will buckle when folded. Set up two A4 landscape pages:
Outside (page 1), left to right:
- Inside flap (tuck-in panel, about 97 mm)
- Back cover (about 100 mm)
- Front cover (about 100 mm)
Inside (page 2), left to right:
- Panel 2 (about 100 mm)
- Panel 3 (about 100 mm)
- Panel 4 (the tuck-in panel, about 97 mm)
Arabic brochures: Arabic reads right to left, so the whole layout is mirrored. On the outside page, the front cover goes on the left, the back cover in the middle, and the tuck-in flap on the right.
File checklist:
- A4 landscape (297 × 210 mm) plus 3 mm bleed: 303 × 216 mm
- Keep text at least 5 mm from each fold line and each edge
